It's such a shame that this unique, wonderfully natural-fitting restaurant has turned into a colorful wacky eyesore. If I had come to you 60 years ago in this colorful something and you had put a nice joint in my hand then that would have been You can see Manfred Hacker in Bienenwalde, this man still has respect for the unique restaurant style that will never be there again.

Very nicely located. We stayed in one of the small apartments and got a great breakfast. We'll definitely be back!

A wonderful place with excellent food. We would love to come back.

Today we wanted to go out to eat with 6 people at 7:25 p.m., at the entrance and on the internet it says warm food until 8 p.m. And in a not very nice way we got blocked. We won't come here any more.

The food comes highly recommended. The staff are professional and kind. From our point of view, the furnishing or design is not so successful ... my opinion: you don't always have to reinvent the wheel. Sometimes it is better to orientate yourself on the traditional.

As the name suggests, the Waldschenke is idyllically situated in the forest. The restaurant is within walking distance of the Stendenitz campsite. We were completely satisfied with our evening with you. Keep it up. We will be back. The burger was GREAT!

It is very tasty. Service is fast, resolute but nice. Ambience with an alternative touch. It is definitely worth a visit. Would have liked to have stayed there but it is fully booked until mid-September.

Very nicely located on the lake but completely overcrowded in summer. Much with reservation of the tables if you happen to get a table then it takes a while until the cellar finally comes. Only a small snack offer ➕ cake that was delicious. Nice personel.

Very friendly service, delicious food, the location in the forest right on the lake is beautiful, a nice playground right in front of the restaurant is also great for the children. We recommend!

The location with a view of the Zermützelsee is excellent. There is a nice playground in front of the restaurant. To be reached by steamer and other boats, the steamer landing stage is located directly below the restaurant. A campsite is just a stone's throw away, as is the forest museum. You can also rent holiday apartments there. A very good starting point for beautiful hikes or walks, to the Kellensee, the forest moor, etc. Everything well thought out. The brightly colored painting of the playground equipment, the rustic benches in front of the forest tavern are nice, the terrace works just fine, but the interior doesn't work at all. You can't come to rest and relax like this, otherwise everything is well thought out, not at all.

Very nice facility and a very friendly staff. The apartments are very well maintained, lovingly decorated and very spacious. Since the property is located directly on the lake, canoe trips are available. These can be borrowed on site, as can bicycles. The kitchen also offers a delicious selection of dishes that can also be enjoyed on the spacious terrace. Overall, highly recommended for all those who are looking for nature, peace and relaxation. 1 star deduction due to the very poor WiFi connection.

Very nice staff! Super breakfast full of ideas, delicious fruits, yogurt, honey, fresh herbs, eggs, cheese, everything at its finest. A holiday apartment on wheels with a terrace slept very well in the beds :) right on the lake with a jetty to jump in !!

Great. We loved the presentation of the restaurant. Simply different. I would say lived out artistically. Colorful and very lovingly furnished facility. Nice and quiet location on the lake and a bit hidden. The food was awesome. A nice selection of dishes, great quality of the products, especially regional partners and a lot of homemade food. All in all, very tasty food. Nice staff and children are also catered for with the playground in front of the restaurant. Definitely a great excursion tip.

Very good food and friendly service. It is a beautiful location on the lake and you sit on a beautiful covered terrace. The service was very nice and accommodating. The price level is totally ok for the taste and the fresh ingredients.
